Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the Nest platform, comprising the web application at nest28.co.uk and the Nest mobile applications for iOS and Android (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.
Nest is operated from the United Kingdom. The Service is intended for use in the United Kingdom only.
Accounts
Access to Nest is by invitation. Landlords and platform administrators may invite property managers, tenants, and contractors to join. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity carried out under your account.
Subscriptions and fees
- Landlords pay a monthly subscription of £3 per property, collected by Stripe.
- A coordination fee (currently 7.6% of the contractor cost) is added to each completed maintenance case. The current rate is displayed inside the app and may be revised on notice.
- All charges are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Stripe customer portal or by deleting your account.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to harass, defraud, or harm another user.
- Upload content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you do not have the right to share.
- Attempt to bypass platform security or extract data you are not authorised to access.
- Resell, white-label, or scrape the Service without our written permission.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.
Contractors
Where contractors submit quotes through Nest, those quotes are commercial offers between the landlord and the contractor. Nest facilitates the workflow and collects the coordination fee, but is not a party to the underlying repair contract.
Service availability
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, introduce new features, or change parts of the Service from time to time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Nest is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or losses arising from contractor work performed off-platform. Our aggregate liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid to Nest in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Account closure
You can close your account at any time from the Settings page in either app. On closure we cancel any active subscription, anonymise your personal data, and retain only the records we are legally required to keep.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
